In general, the traditional mindset is that sweating out should be left to the younger generation. Mature folk have little time and no interest to commit to a proper exercise regime - they will only see its importance once their health takes a dip for the worse.
What's the importance of exercise???
- It can help lower cholesterol levels and protect you from heard diseases.
- Regular workout sessions can help in maintaining a healthy body weight as sweating out can help combat the slowing down of the body's metabolic rate.
- Working out regularly can help provide you with more energy and the stamina to get you going at any time of the day since we tend to feel lethargic by sitting around and not doing much as we age.
- Also help in strengthening bones, muscles and joints which will help in mobility and balance.
Thus, it is not wise to cut off exercise just because of the after effects such as pain, swelling and strains. In fact, exercise actually do help prevent pain and swelling from occuring.
